Diablo 3 PS3 confirm UK release date, to meet players in October

Diablo 3 PS3 confirm UK release date, to meet players in October
Sony electronic entertainment Europe department confirmed that Diablo 3 PS3 will come onto stage at Friday, October 11, 2013 in Britain. Before this, I ever found some other information in an advertisement at VideoGamer.com, that the release data of this game in United States is October 8.
Why so many games to be release at the same time of the Diablo 3 PS version, want to snatch the Diablo 3 gold market? Or just want to steal Diablo 3’s thunder.
Sony is very wise to put this PS3 exclusive game before the sale of PS4. And in addition to the Diablo 3 PS3, and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 6 and the Puppeteer which Sony is the first party manufacture are waiting for release.

Gold Taker in http://www.diablo3goldtaker.com - Diablo 4 is not a dream. - Blogoye.net

Diablo 4 is not a dream.

Like D2 where there was hardly anyone working on it long term.Players expect the ladder system and economic system. But Travis says it’s possible someday. And Diablo 4 will surely meet everyone!
So the 1.08 upgrade had solved a lot of problems,But still can not meet the players.Players look forward to continuous innovation, constantly upgrading, and can not be there every upgrade experience.Just as the Travis says"Oh, I just said Diablo 4. Okay, I’ll break news and guarantee you that someday in the future, there will be a Diablo 4. It’ll probably be twenty years from now."

Guild Wars 2 Searching for Group tool to be introduced by ArenaNet this year

Guild Wars 2 is well-fed with players, and grows more rotund by the day. However its land is even larger, and Guild Wars 2 item players have clamoured for months concerning the need for a Looking for Group tool - something to point their wizards and warriors in the direction of populated sectors, where they can team up with others to smash centaurs or pick apples or whathaveyou.

Developers ArenaNet have already been making meaningful noises on the subject for a little while, though only yesterday confirmed that an in-game strategy will be in place by the end of 2013.

In reply to a thread entitled, 'Is LFG even on the radar?', ArenaNet game director Colin Johanson exclaimed: "They're indeed!"

"As we have announced previously, we have got a team working on an in-game LFG tool to be released later in 2013."

A lot of 4 months earlier, content designer Robert Hrouda closed a poll thread on the official GW2 forums, stating: "We're investigating & working on improving our group finding tool.

"While we definitely appreciate the thread, I'm just going to lock & close it seeing as how you are voting on something we're already interested by."

Right now, a sizeable chunk of the Guild Wars community are relying on 3rd-party service GW2LFG to find appropriate parties. Nonetheless an in-property effort would by its very nature bring more Guild Wars 2 gold players into the fold. Are you holding out for ArenaNet's tool?

Retro gaming event for 'Guild Wars 2' in April; Super Adventure Box

An event named Super Adventure Box launched right before April Fool's Day could appear like a huge prank even so no one's complaining concerning the retro trip "Guild Wars two" is giving their gw2 gold players this April. The Super Fun Adventure Fun Occasions have began and will be going till April 30. From quaint downgraded graphics to fun new content ArenaNet is offering a distinctive experience for MMORPG players.

"Guild Wars 2" missed out on classic New Years in-game festivities for 2013 having said that; they're making up for it with a Spring celebration in the form of the Super Adventure Box. This particular April event takes form through a new puzzle in Rata Sum. The inspiration behind the new event is rooted in late 1980's home console video Guild Wars 2 gold games.

This event makes the world colorful and pixelated in a fashion comparable to "Minecraft". Luckily the world is only similar to old school "Super Mario" to start with glance & you won't are obliged to cope with any 2D platforming (Although platform puzzles are available). Super Fun Box brings more than just pixelated graphics to "Guild Wars 2".

Uncommon rewards abound inside the Super Fun Box. Earn rare pixelated skins, one of a kind minipets, & mystery chests all through the world that spawn exclusive mobs & tokens. Use these particular tokens to redeem Super Adventure Box in-game swag like weapons and skins. You could experience the Super Fun Adventure Fun Occasions in "Guild Wars 2" all throughout April.

Complaining Air Attuning in Guild Wars 2

Some GW2 gold players complained about the problem of Air Attuning in the forum. And that makes them annoying as they always receive bug reports in their inbox. What's more, these reports have nothing to do with the Traits.

Anyways whenever you attune to Air from a different attunement, somehow you auto target the closest monster (red, yellow whatever) and shoot an auto-Fireball in Air (as he attuned from Fire to Air). This is clearly a bug, but it's very annoying because when you want to run and attune to Air you auto-attack a mob making you "in combat" which also means you can't run anymore. And that happens on Staff and Scepter.

In addition, this never happens if he attunes to any other element, not even from Air.

And that not only happened for one player, many Guild Wars 2 gold players had the same experience when they were playing the game.

If you use a non attack skill (like: windborn speed) or attunement swap while having a mob close to the centre of your screen (your target area) and within attack range you auto target it and shoot your auto attack (mostly skill #1 of your current attunement).

Some players have tried to use Ctrl + Right Click to for turning off auto attack. And you need go manual on this build or aggro everything.

And I think something could to be done with the auto-targeting function. We hope ArenaNet will fix it as soon as possible. - See more at: http://www.gw2gold.net/news-info.html?n=6071&c=97#sthash.xX82Ob1y.dpuf

GW2 Colin Johanson explains differences between Living World and Flame & Frost

Game Director Colin Johanson went on the official forums today to clarify the differences between the thought of Living World & Flame & Frost storyline.

Living World is really a broader concept, it is the assumption that Guild Wars 2 is (& will develop into more so) a really living gw2 gold game, where the world can alter and continually evolve going forward.

This will come in a lot of distinct forms. One example of stuff we've done in the past is new events, dungeons, guild missions, etc. being added that often widen the range of content and experiences. We want to keep doing on the whole of this with our world in the future, to in the main provide new exciting items you can discover and experience any time in Gw2.

A different form of this really is by way of special events, items like Halloween, Hunger Games, or Wintersday where content is obtainable for a period of time, is removed from the game when that period is over, & could appear once again in the future in quite a few form to help provide unique and fun experiences in the game world.

Finally, the storyline of this sort of content going into the world is often the "living story" in a sense for the game. We've got to try & theme our releases with storylines and principal characters in the game world that have exciting story arcs, a whole lot of the permanent new content, particular events, and so on. will all have these core story arcs that drive them in the Guild Wars 2 gold game world. Much like the story of Halloween drove around the potential return of the Mad King, storyline for our living world releases will play a sizeable part in the content that appears & adjustments the world as a result.

We want to make this a significantly larger part of where Gw2 goes in the future, to give a sense that the world truly can adjust mostly as you are playing and every time you login. What we've done with Flame and Frost so far can be an immensely little example of what we view the living world to be as a future possibility for Gw2. Items more along the lines of Halloween, Lost Shores, and Wintersday are more robust examples, coupled with the new events, guild missions, and so on. we've added in releases since launch.

The goal is to provide a unifying storyline to the world that ushers this new content into the game, adjustments the game, & makes the world feel genuinely alive. It's like every month your GM is running new scenarios for your gaming group to appreciate, or your favorite Tv show is airing new episodes to experience. We are really barely scratching the surface of what this concept could be for our game, & we'll be building way more in that in 2013.

Looking to play GW2 need many info

Hi, I'm not positive if this is the best place to post these questions:

1) I am a westcoast player, is there any server that has more Guild Wars 2 gold players online all through PST timezone after work hours than others?

2) Are there any servers that stand out for any reason & might be advantageous? I personally do not need to be in a server that's dead or something, I'd like to interact with folks more regularly than not

3) Is the tactic guide for GW2 advantageous? I like guides personally, but is it beneficial?

4) So far I especially like the Mesmer and Thief classes, any pros & cons for each you can share that I may not not about however to decide which class to go to?

Thanks

I'll answer 4 for you. I have a 80 mesmer (my main) plus a 80 thief (my second main )

First off let me say no matter the profession there are loads of distinct ways to play the same profession even with the same weapons. my mesmer traits are 20/10/10/30/0 (I cannot bear in mind what those lines are atm, but thats what they are) I also use a mixture of Energy/toughness/Vitality and Power/Vitality/Crit harm armor & accessories. For weps I have sword/pistol & Greatsword. For utlities I use Blink, null field & Feedback. As for trait perks, I can not don't forget those atm. One or two notes with this establish, I do incredible damage, have remarkable survivablity and can solo camps in WvW with no trouble. (nearly soloed a tower once, however folks came & joined me, I also once solo catapaulted down outer bay wall and inner to 70% before I was discovered, however thats more to stupidity of the enemy then my class )

Basicly my build is a balanced 1 created to give me fantastic damage (I have only 9% crit rate and 41% crit harm) and good survivablity without making me into a pansy bunker create that can walk by way of a supernova but not kill something. one on 1's I practically never lose and in a defense or an attack I am there moving around the front lines and the back taking people down and getting lots of kills (rolled over 10k yesterday)

For Combat, PvE or PvP is a big question.

PvE I can basicly let my clones/phantasisms do all the work. They generally keep the agro of mobs which implies I usually don't need to move around dodging unless the mob/boss has aoe or I just feel like it.

PvP I can get up close & personal with folks or remain in the back with my greatsword. Feedback is my favourite utlity skill (reflects projectiles back at shooter and is a combo field), when used on a zerg you will see all kinds of numbers fly and a large number of occasions a well placed feedback can turn the tide of a battle. (I've thrown it out and brought on an overall zerg to lose half its HP and then my guys wiped them) Nullfield is extremly helpful too, it removes all conditions from you and your allies, while removing boons from your enemies. Whenever I encounter Dagger/Dagger Elementalist or a Guardian I drop nullfield & kill them as they lose all their boons.

Thief

Thieves have a good deal of different builds to them as well, however right now the most prevalent I think is the near perma stealth develop which I do not use and is about to be nerfed to nonexistance That being stated, my thief is dagger/dagger and pistol/pistol. I acutal use energy/precession/toughness armor and power/vit/crit harm accessories. It gives me more HP and more toughness than most other theives while my traits are 30/30/0/0/10 & so I nonetheless do remarkable damage, the 15-20k crit hits that glass cannon thieves get I don't (I get eight-12k fairly commonly although) although I also have much better survivablity & I don't rely on stealth to survive. I can stealth, but I often only do so when I need to escape or just finish a person off. I use sigil utilitys (I think that is what they are called) for energy, precession & Speed & dagger storm elite, which is just astonishing.

PvE combat is a peice of cake (which may be stated while playing any professions genuinely) You could bleed them out conveniently with death blossom #3 d/d skill or burst them down by way of backstab and pistol bursts. Especially few points give me difficulty (just champions & group events I solo) Once again though mine is a more balanced thief, glass cannon thieves can kill more swiftly, by can't take a hit.

PvP combat with my balanced build I'm a different sort of thief in WvW. I do great damage nonetheless, nevertheless I can take a hit & it throws a large number of players off when they hit me & my hp doesn't disappear. Then I get the choice to hit back or stealth & do even greater harm.

A lot depends upon what you find fun in the Guild Wars 2 item game on if how I play would be fun for you, or in the event you prefer distinctive builds. By no means am I saying my builds are the only ones or the proper ones, they are what I prefer and help me get fun out of playing. The only misguided method to play is the way that you do not have any fun.

I will say do not anticipate to be excellent at a profession right away. Dieing is ok. Even though I have been playing since beta I still die for stupid factors (in most cases jumping from factors I should not). I also wasn't magicaly good at my professions, my builds continuesly evolve as I learn more or switch things up as will yours. If you try a create out and don't like it Do not just throw out the toon and start over. You can 100% modify your create with very tiny cost, just by talking to a trainer. So try things out by yourself.

And I am on Darkhaven in the event you are nonetheless attempting to find a excellent home, we have trolls yes, nevertheless we predominantly keep them in Lion's Arch so do not let them get to you.

My Guild Wars 2 account was terminated, what can I do?

Well, decided to test out the new PC & try GW2 once more after not playing for a variety of months. I almost certainly played the game for 3 weeks, stopped, account got hacked, reset password then never played again. Now I loaded it up, patched, and logged in to the Guild Wars 2 gold game to find my account is terminated.

Huh...
I am unable to open a ticket because my account is disabled. Navigation on the site runs me in circles, has anybody had this happen to them and how did you resolve it? Countless troubles from this game alone, never a number of in other games I've played.

Are you, by chance, a member of a fansite or guild web-site that is committed to GW2? The majority of account hacking by gold farmers is by attacking fan sites, which are FAR less secure than the game's and organization's servers, getting usernames and passwords, then just attempting them out in game and hope they find a match.

I remember that that dude, MarkeedDragon, managed to get an interview with a Chinese gold farmer hoping to rat on his employer. (His name was witheld for obvious causes.) Said farmer explicitly stated that the above mentioned methoed was the number one way that his company obtained accounts, the second was from buyers who gave them account details, and the third was social engineering. (I could be inaccurate about those last two... correct me if I'm misguided.) He also stated that GW2 gold farmers almost NEVER try to hack the game company itself, as most of their networks are far too complicated to crack, & too closely monitored, to warrant the time & effort. (While ther are exceptions. *cough*Nexon*cough*)

To paraphrase, if your acount gets hacked, there's a 99.99999999...% chance it's a PEBCAK error. Either you use the same account name & PW for far more things than you will need to, or you trusted an individual with facts they need to not have actually been trusted with. While each of these are understandable, you must nonetheless know better and ought to not be suprised when these negative security habbits come back to haunt you.

In case you in a nut-shell bought income from a gold farmer... well, don't anticipate any sympathy. You should know better.

Guild Wars 2 devs debate 'all the time' about if the game is too complex

Guild War 2's developers debate irrespective of whether the game has developed into too convoluted "all of the time," following the game's countless additions post launch, lead Isaiah Cartwright recently told Forbes.

Speaking with the publication, Cartwright explained that this discussion is specifically bolstered by the quantity of Guild Wars 2 gold game currencies.

"It is a debate we've here all of the time, in particular when it come to the quantity of currencies which are around," Cartwright stated. "It really comes down to once you want to reward a person for doing a specific sort of gameplay. For the reason that we've been adding a good deal of reward tactics, we have noticed an improve in the amount of currencies out there."

Cartwright added that the team is reaching an end to how many methods they can add. They'll instead continue to work on the strategies already in place.

"I need us to slow down on the number of systems that we are adding and polish up & clean up the ones that we have added so they are less complicated to realize, with better UI for them, those sorts of points, that'll be some of the stuff that we're focused on in the future," Cartwright stated. "1 of the considerable objectives of GW was to allow any person to jump in & play. We have a team committed to making confident that it is simple, and we are going to continue to boost that process as much as we can."

Guild Wars 2 launched in August 2012. The 3rd installment of the four-part Flame and Frost storyline, The Razing, is at the moment slated to launch March 26.

This really is way too casual for me

I had amazing expectations for GW2; however this game is taking casual gameplay to the extreme. Nothing is even remotely tricky.

I can not tolerate culling and lag so WvWvW is out of the question. The downed state lowers the skill cieling in sPVP too much. What I mean by that is 1 player cannot defeat 2 or 3 players in a 1v2 or 1v3 situation. I got to Fractals 40+.... yawn...

Explorable dungeons are particularly poorly designed. They're straightforward and unrewarding too. The open world PVE is so mind numbing that you can auto attack any NPC to death; even those world event dragon bosses. I feel like I'm losing IQ and becoming stupid the more I play this Guild Wars 2 gold game.

I was questioning if any people were like me; frustrated by how easy the PVE is and how bad the PVP feels?

Dungeons are not easy, they are a sheer mess since they didn't need to use the trinity process, which ended up being a flop quickly, and it even spawned a brand new type trinity (which is just the old trinity made I guess more 'flexible') to make it a little better. Nonetheless something that I do not get what they were thinking with it, it should be troublesome by taking skill, not by being a sheer mess with modest you could do about it except having a excellent group make up... kinda like you were attempting to NOT do by making it more gratis without the trinity.

However yes, the game is way too straightforward. Dodge appears to be the reason to simplify the skills down enormously and in contrast to games with simpler combat like Diablo 2 or PoE, theres little to no customization which genuinely detracts from gameplay. It's exceptionally casual, one of the easiest games I've played for certain when it comes to sectors that aren't just a mess (dungeons) but thats not nessisarily a negative thing either.

Men and women are allowed to appreciate a casual game, a few men and women aren't enormous on convoluted gameplay and as such GW2 gold isn't too negative. Personally I find it to be my least preferred AAA MMO in ages nonetheless that doesn't mean men and women can't get pleasure from it either. I just think principally it needs to really give casuals more to do as fluff & make 'grind' less of the 'do this same task a variety of times' deal.

Sure, I feel its exceptionally over-rated and its rather very casual friendly, yet heck, there is no problem with that. There are those who like it so let them appreciate it. Just for the reason that its casual it does not mean its bad. I might recite stuff that I feel wrong with the game but can you claim that its focus on casual is negative as a valid point? Not genuinely.

What you can do with ascended rings?

As most of our Guild Wars 2 gold players may have many ascended rings, and they do not know what they can do with these rings. Therefore, how to deal with these rings is worth paying attention.

First, I think you should make them able to be turned in to an NPC for some sort if currency that you may purchase things like packs of materials with or something else.

Second, due to all this ascended gear currently can't be sold on the TP and they possibly can't even be salvaged, although it would be wise for you to give it a go before you decide to merchant them. Here I think if you have the space. Hang on to them for a bit just in case any changes are made in the future that would make them useful. It's like some of the superior useless signals in my bank. They can't be forged and they aren't worth very much when sold. So I'm waiting to see if there will ever be a patch that allows them to be forged.

Regardless, congratulations on getting too numerous ascended trinkets. Some people are still working hard on outfitting one toon with them, let alone having enough for their troop of alts.

Guild Wars 2 cuts the charge of combat - ArenaNet remove paid PvP

Today marks the release of Guild Wars 2′s much-teased second Flame & Frost update, The Gathering Storm. The patch not only adds guild missions, a brand new PvP map as well as a continuation of the Guild Wars 2 gold game's Living Story, although also brings a modify to paid PvP tournaments. Primarily, it removes them, instead relying on a more robust matchmaking system that will govern the remaining free tournaments.

"One of the reasons we to begin with introduced Paid Tournaments was to generate a place for hyper-competitive, incredibly adept GW2 gold players to find matches with other players of comparable skill, leaving the Zero cost Tournament procedure available for more casual competitive play," explains ArenaNet's Tyler Bearce. Now that the matchmaking program can accurately place players of a comparable skill level, that paid tier is no longer critical.

After the update, 1-round & three-round free tournaments will be available, each with a separate matchmaking rank.

Bearce notes that any remaining Tournament Tickets can now be exchanged for Gold, Silver or Copper reward chests at the Ticket Merchant NPC, next to the Tournament Master in Heart of the Mists.

Any class you disliked at launch but enjoy now?

At launch i tried a bit of every class and even though I played all the BWEs i didn't know the combat system very well. Now months after release I have tried all classes to at least 30+ and have a much better grasp of combat and combos and playing support.

Now is there any class you played at launch that didn't click but now you love it?

For me it's easily mesmer. I have found so far this is probably the most versatile, customizable, and enjoyable class of them all. The things I can do on my memser most of my alts would have no chance at all(at my skill level that is heh)...I have changed my overall playstyle every 10 or so levels since I started playing it and closing in on 60 I have about 8 differences builds I want to try once I open the last line of traits.

Also going the other way I really enjoyed warrior at launch but honestly find them the most boring class of them al nowl:P

My necro is getting more dull as I lvl. He got a big boost at lvl 30 and he has been spinning his wheels since (75 now). My warrior is 30and a wrecking ball with fun weapons and seemingly interesting build choices. My 80 ranger is fun and has a nice variety of build choices. I def think the necro and engineer need a big fun injection of all the classes Ive tried (havent tried guardian or mesmer).

When I first started the game I hated mesmer and levelled my elementalist to 80.  Shortly after 80 I began to hate everything about elementalist and left the Guild Wars 2 gold game for a few weeks.  After returning I though I would reroll a mesmer and see how it is, now I love the class and it has become my main.  I tried to get back on my elementalist after a few months away and after a half hour hopped back to the mesmer.

Guild Wars 2 Day-to-day achievements adjust

I admit, as I get largely play sessions below my belt, the dailies are starting to feel like a chore. Maybe since the list is there at the corner of the display all the time. Potentially since the rewards are so enticing (as opposed to "mess of karma I'll finally use). Or it could be that often they come easy and quite often not, & I'll never know so I feel inclined to get them out of the way rather than wondering whether I'll need to log off before they're done.

Exactly how I'm playing the Guild Wars 2 gold game at the moment on the nights after work. The dailies are pretty critical to me and that's why I spend the modest bit of time I have getting them done first so at least I know they are all done and dusted before logging off.

You'd be slower should you stuck to doing dailies as your only technique for acquiring ascended gear & did not do them daily.

As for the 2nd statement, how particularly is your GW2 gold game negatively impacted when you don't need those meager further stats anyhow? At least... how outside of your own mind is your game negatively impacted?

OMG! I finally finished my first everyday!
I just had to grind the same DEs all over once more (oh Queensdale troll, your death brings me +1s), the location around the troll allowed me to get 13 unique kills & 20 gatherings, I was able to readily get the dodges on the veteran trees (love those foes and their insanely telegraphed attacks allow for SUPER logical dodges) after which I simply switched characters and revived a bunch of Scrap-BOTS.

Needless to say, I now need to park my characters in those locations & keep doing the precise same factor over & over and over again, but I guess that is the gameplay that GW2 rewards.

WoW Survivor realizes it will expense $30 to play on another server

2 things:

1) Server transfer in WoW are free, how does GW2 DARE to charge for them! Err wait... that does not compute... ;-)

2) Server transfer don't expense $30. ANet did something intelligent that Blizzard did not do. The cost vaies depending on the load of your target server. Should you try to go to an already rather high/full server, it will cost you more than in case you transfer to a lower population server.
Medium: 500
High: 1000
Incredibly High: 1800

Oh, and 1800 gems are not $30. It is precisely $22.5. Which implies it is much more affordable than transfers in WoW, which charge $25 PER CHARACTER, while GW2 transfers will do your all your characters at once... which means that for a base account with five characters, the price is $4.5 per character... quite affordable compared to WoW's $25 per character.

So... what are you complaining about, once more?

'Guild Wars 2' publisher inks Unreal Engine four, 'Guild Wars 3' coming?

"Guild Wars 2" has been without a doubt 1 of the biggest successes over the past twelve months in the realm of Computer gaming, and the company that brought gamers the good MMO has signed a new deal to use the Unreal Engine 4 in much of its upcoming titles.

In accordance with a report from IGN yesterday, NCSoft has agreed to a lengthy-term deal that delivers them with the best to make use of the tools & technology of the Unreal Engine 4.

The company said they plan on developing their greatest activities however, & are excited about the chance to work with 1 of the most advanced Guild Wars 2 gold game engines in gaming today.

"We plan to release our finest game ever utilizing our Unreal Engine expertise and the new cutting-edge Unreal Engine 4 tools," NCSoft said.

It'll be interesting to see what the next project is that NCSoft has in mind for the reason that with how astounding "Guild Wars 2" looked, their subsequent title could be even better.

Another aspect to consider is since they have licensed this new tech, is how it will be in a position to allow the company to push the technologies in their GW2 gold games.

GW2 why the story implementation works(for me)

One of the items I dislike about MMO questing is how it on the whole tries to make you the hero inside the main game world, with everyone else doing the exact same save the world quests right along side you. GW2 I feel solves this by taking that aspect & making it optional & absolutely instanced & leaving the world quests to actually make sense in a way that everyone can do them & not have" you" as the center of it all.. Confident not everyone cares or notices this kind of factor but to me its immensely helpful with overall immersion. I personally don't delight in when" you are the one" is the center focus of a MMO in general...whats everybody else's feelings on this?

If I had a mine shaft, I don't think I would just abandon it. There is got to be a better way.

I like that they give you the option to decide on to do the story or not. Myself I like how each races and choice upto the Claw Island part let you kinda make your own path nevertheless even after Claw Island the story honestly does take you on a journey that tells a exceptional story with it. Most of all though the choice to follow the story after the start of you time in the world is what makes me like it you decide in case you need the story or just play the gw2 gold game.

And even without the story itself theres a ton of lore you study just by reading this or that in the game from gave stones to plaques to books even theres alot of story without.

Personally, I listened to the very first few pieces of dialogue and I skipped to the end on all the rest. It started out boring, so I did not bother with the rest of it.

I would like this if they had gone all the way with it. But after being declare the "Hero of...." hthen asked by a commoner to perform menial tasks....it just creates a disconnect.

Either have me be the hero or don't have me be the hero, but there has to be several type of agreement there.

I personally like being quite a few kind of Hero. It elevates the importance of the Guild Wars 2 gold game's adventure to me. If I am just going to play an average joe, then you want to make the story fascinating adequate that I do not feel like what I am doing is a chore I might just do in genuine life.
In the end, I am playing the game to play something I would fantasize playing.

Release a game with a really large established fanbase from 10+ years of bnet history when the industry was still emerging and the casual base had not yet been established, so ripe for harvesting a momentious self perpetuating playerbase people never leave because they have X hours invested in their characters, & their friends and everyone else plays anyway. Not discounting Blizzard quality... although WoW's success is as much about ideal timing as it is quality, if not more so. - Derros

Guild Wars 2, Flame and Frost - Synopsis

Flame and Frost Prelude is the name of the patch released by the end of January, what I genuinely like about this patch is that is full of modifications & new stuff. It looks like Arenanet is taking the fun points about Guild Wars 2 & enhancing them for our own joy, or at least my own enjoyment.

I am kind of happy with this update, it takes away some annoying items and it also add more beneficial stuff, like the guesting strategy plus the day-to-day quests rotation. It's outstanding to know that I do not have to keep doing the same routing every day anymore. I heard that several men and women is complaining about this, but do we genuinely need to do the same friggin thing over & over once again? I thought some folks no longer do the daily quest for the reason that is repetitive and boring. If that's true, we need to give the new daily rotation a warm welcome.

There is so much stuff in this patch, fractal improvements, the guesting method, a new form of currency (the laurels), bug fixes, graphical updates, optimizations & a few tweaks in our skill-sets repertoire. I am glad that Anet is taking the correct direction on this 1, a whole lot of skill bugs are no longer there and many exploits are gone! I know it is not perfect, yet the balancing is taking the correct direction.

The patch notes are virtually endless!!! Nonetheless one of the most notorious points going on in this patch is the new Living Story.

Anet is introducing a brand new concept in the gw2 gold game, a onetime only event, something that will happen once and it will adjust the game world in a little way, I know that it sucks when you miss such events, but if it works fine, chances are that Anet is going to release more of this kind of events.

We are doing something in the history of GW2, not just doing the same event & stories rehashing that everybody else is doing. Put another way, we are doing something that gives us a sensation of meaning, or at least it does to me. The only factor that concerns me is that Anet mess it up at many point with many nasty 'To Be Continued' in the Living Stories, no spoilers plz... We know that life keeps moving forward, so do not tell us what we're going to do in the next quest after we finish the first 1.

I will dare to that this patch, is one of the best patches ever made for any Guild Wars 2 gold game. It's incredibly logical to notice that many factors in game are altering for excellent.

Guild Wars 2: Interview with Colin Johanson - quests, PvP and Balancing

In an interview to Guild Wars 2 Colin Johanson talks about ArenaNet's plans for world PvP, PvE, the group search and balancing.

Guild Wars 2 Game Director Colin Johanson has an English-language website gave an interview in which various contents of the game are subject. About balancing there's little concrete only the statement that the team will continue to keep an eye on the professions and makes adjustments where necessary. What is certain is that the damage from area attacks is reduced. For World PvP plans ArenaNet new possibilities of command for the Commander. In addition, the WvW by successes, titles and ranks more interesting.

In PvE, the loot system is adapted. In addition, Orr undergoes a small revision. There should be some new events and permanently usable waypoints. Find a group, as it exists in other MMOs is, in Guild Wars 2 does not work automatically in the future. The team is working on an internal solution. The group search should only have a supporting character, as the players continue to seek to form a group. The original article on the interview about Guild Wars 2, you read at MMORPG.com. Guesting coming to Guild Wars 2 on January 28: free server transfers to cease

1 of the frustrating parts about MMOs is often when your friends ignore your advice & start playing on a absolutely diverse server the one you're on. Those jerks! Well, be angry no more as Guild Wars 2's 'Guesting' feature is launching on January 28, & will let you successfully just pop in to their servers and run around with them like standard... with a few restrictions.

For 1, WvW is out — try to jump into quite a few WvW and you'll be booted back to your own server. And for a further, guesting only works within the same region, so if you are on a European server you can not guest onto a North American server. You could also only guest on up to 2 worlds at a time: each time you guest on a world, that gets to be one of your eligible guesting worlds for the next 24 hours. Once those 24 hours have passed, you could guest on a distinct server.

As a result of guesting becoming active, gratis world transfers will cease to operate. "Be sure that you'll be on the world you intend to play on before January 28th," writes ArenaNet, "because after that date, you'll are compelled to pay a gem fee to transfer worlds."

Take a look at all of the details & details on how guesting works over on the Guild Wars 2 gold site.

Watch The 'Guild Wars 2' Halloween Trailer

Celebrate Halloween in Guild Wars 2.

I have been playing a bit of Mists of Pandaria lately, and the World of Warcraft universe is decked out in pumpkins & distinctive (& occasionally exceptionally frustrating) quests.

However it looks nothing at all like what ArenaNet has planned for Guild Wars 2 this coming week. As I noted last week, The Shadow of the Mad King brings new quests, festivities, and a range of other features to the MMO.

And it all looks quite lavish and haunting.

The teaser trailer does a excellent work conveying the festive spirit of the event - spooky & corny in the same way that the rest of the gw2 gold game is an odd melange of astounding terrain, dire battles, and all sorts of cheesiness.

The Halloween event begins tomorrow and runs by way of the 31st.

Christmas in Tyria must be intriguing.

Guild Wars 2: Better rewards in the open world planned

The reward system in Guild Wars 2 will be expanded. A simplified hunt for the coveted weapons blanks but is not currently on the agenda of ArenaNet. Instead, ArenaNet wants to implement better rewards in the open world.

In the forum of Guild Wars 2 is game director Colin Johansen has commented on the current work on the reward system. Especially the hunt for weapons of blanks, which are necessary for the construction of the legendary weapons heated, partially the minds of the Guild Wars 2 gold players. The team at ArenaNet has already announced some time ago that they want to make the hunt for the rare blanks easier and want to give players the opportunity to hunt specifically desired item.

Johansen, however, explained that the team is not currently working on a new system for hunting weapons blanks. Over the next three months, so there will definitely be no simplification in the search for the rare items. Therefore, the development team potters but for improved rewards in the open world. In addition to weapons-R will be available in the future in other ways in the game. Some changes are coming the way already towards the end of January on the server.

ArenaNet cracks down on Guild Wars 2 cheaters, bans 34,000 accounts

Guild Wars 2 publisher ArenaNet is rather serious about stamping out cheating in its fan-favorite MMORPG, and alongside a enormous rash of player bans the company has decided to outline its anti-cheating gameplan.

Cheaters have already been the main scourge of hugely multiplayer online games since the subgenre first emerged. Guild Wars 2 is no exception to this truism, and since its debut in August publisher ArenaNet has been scrambling to come up with a viable plan to prevent lazy gamers from ruining the experience for people that hope to enjoy Guild Wars 2 gold the way its developers intended.

The most problematic group of cheaters for practically any hugely multiplayer title is most definitely the "botters." These are players who use third-party program to automate their character's in-game actions. This gets to be a big issue for MMO creators, as most of these games heavily rely on lengthy, involved quests & item collection tasks to artificially lengthen a game's potential shelf-life. What a player can accomplish in a single-player roleplaying game in a matter of minutes usually takes hours in a massively multiplayer game, nonetheless by offering players periodic rewards, these otherwise tedious activities are in a position to release a burst of dopamine inside a player's brain, hence keeping him or her playing (and keeping the game's creators wealthy adequate to continue development on the title & make a nice profit as well). In automating these tasks, botters efficiently remove all the less exciting, effort-filled bits of the game and instead skip right to the neat end-game content, or, if they're pro's, they may use this method to pick up huge lots of in-game items which can then be sold for real-world cash, either through legitimate or black sector channels. These would your stereotypical "Chinese gold farmers."

Given the impact this can have on a publisher's bottom line (not to mention the rage other players could feel at discovering that their peers are cheating), ArenaNet has decided to publicize its recent decisive strike against the legions of botters. In a lengthy post lately added to the official Guild Wars 2 internet site, the game's security coordinator, Mike Lewis, lets players know that during the month of November the company banned a whopping 34,000 player accounts because of reports of botting & other activities strictly outlawed by the game's end user license agreement. Further, he claims that the overall population of botters in ArenaNet seems to be shrinking — though, to be fair, he also notes that this coincides with a lower in the game's overall player population. In accordance with Lewis, ArenaNet monitors global bot activity inside its game and since October the standard quantity of botters active at any given time has dropped from over 2,000 to "a way healthier 20."
Lewis then goes on to thank the game's remaining players for their efforts in reporting botters to ArenaNet before outlining the system the publisher has in place to combat this dilemma. Have a look:

Collecting and analyzing data is very crucial to us at ArenaNet. Data is the most potent weapon in our arsenal against bots. We have gathered enormous quantities of info about the habits of both normal players & automated bot players. We contracted a team of data specialists to help us create comprehensive tools that comb by way of this data and find effective ways to single out and terminate bot accounts. Automating this process has been a major focus of the ArenaNet security team, & we're now seeing the considerable fruits of this labor.
One other way we identify and combat bots is by means of manual observation. Our GM staff is equipped to monitor the game around the clock and detect bots from within the game itself. We have a considerable task force assigned to patrolling the world & eliminating bots, together with helping us continue to boost and refine our automatic detection tools.

Last however not least, we are in a outstanding position to monitor and investigate bot reports as they arrive from players. Aided by our analysis tools and strengthened by manual investigation as necessary, GMs are able to react rapidly and effectively to bot reports & terminate offending accounts in brief order.

Whether ArenaNet is prosperous in its crusade against botters remains to be noticed — no MMO to date has been able to absolutely wipe them out — nevertheless at least it has a plan and is working toward making the online title that a good deal more friendly for individuals that just need to team up with a group of friends to kill extraordinary creatures. Fans can not genuinely ask for more, however we wonder if these efforts will be adequate to stem the slowly-growing exodus the gw2 gold game has noticed since launch.

Guild Wars 2 game director teases 2013 content updates

The Wintersday event has wrapped up and Guild Wars 2 players will be wondering what is in retail outlet as far as new content is concerned in the months ahead.

Game director Colin Johanson jumped in with an update for players which indicated that there are going to be a number of bigger content additions inside the next 3 months.

Just to help supply a number of clarity on this, we'll be releasing within the subsequent couple of weeks a high level summary of our major plans for the very first half of 2013 to help provide more transparency into our plans with the game going forward. This will include providing more details about our ambitions for the Guild Wars 2 gold game, facts about the stories & features that you'll see in the Jan/Feb/March releases.

To set expectations accordingly, the January release will be a reasonably modest release that sets the table for the stories and features we plan to roll out with the Feb/March releases & beyond. Also, there will be no new race, profession, or new region with these larger Feb/March releases. 1 of our major goals with these releases is making our existing world as powerful as doable, ensuring there are causes to go to all the locations in the world we've already built, & strengthening the core game we've provided. In saying this will be an expansions worth of stuff in these releases, we are talking about the number of new features that will be rolled out across PvE, WvW, & PvP in early 2013, which commonly you'd only find in an expansion for a time-honored MMORPG.

More details and specifics to come in the subsequent couple of weeks, but I hope that helps provide many more insight into what to anticipate at a tremendously high level.

In other GW2 news, ArenaNet has handed out bannings for players who were taking advantage of a crafting exploit which allowed gw2 gold players to create an endless supply of ectoplasm with snowflakes. This undermined the game's economy, however it has left a few players a minimal perplexed that there was no genuine warning and it need to have already been spotted as a predicament by the developers before it hit the servers.

ArenaNet's Gail Gray posted to clarify why the bans were handed out.

I've noticed the numbers, plus the damage to the economy might have actually been substantial, if the exploit wasn't closed down & if these folks were allowed to use their ill-gotten gains. Men and women whose accounts were terminated were the worst offenders. I'm talking a great deal of ill-gotten gains that posed a substantial potential impact on the economy.

Any time you take 1 factor & can make two, and then four, and then sixteen... ya gotta know that is just inaccurate. (I will not quibble on the odds, however overall, that form of doubling was not outside the realm of possibility.) & to perform that action hundreds & hundreds of occasions? That is call "exploitation," & that's against the User Agreement, the Rules of Conduct, and all that is holy.

I know the OP will disagree. Although we've been more than kind, in the past, and everybody desires to own up to his/her errors & recognize: We all are part of the game economy, and individuals that exploit it are hurting the rest of us.

Exploit closed.
Worst offenders terminated.
That is what has to happen to make points right for all of us.
